Painting got dusty? <\/strong>\u2014wipe with a dry, soft cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Goo was flung onto it?<\/strong> \u2014wipe gently with a warm, wet, soft cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Goo more tenacious than that?<\/strong> \u2014use a bit of diluted dish soap with same wet cloth.\u00a0 Wipe clean with fresh wet cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Canvas got dented or baggy<\/strong>?– because someone leaned into it or it was stacked poorly with bigger\/smaller\/heavier things? \u2014just mist water onto the back of the canvas, and let dry.\u00a0 It\u2019ll tighten up on its own.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Something has STABBED THROUGH your painting<\/strong>\u2014yeeeeaaahhh\u2026you\u2019re probably going to have to bring or send it back here to me.\u00a0 I\u2019ll have to have a look to know what surgery can fix it. I can fix it for a fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n *I\u2019ve never repaired a painting on board that has been splintered.\u00a0 I\u2019m not saying I wouldn\u2019t try!\u2014I’m just sayin\u2019\u2014no promises. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n STORING YOUR PAINTINGS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Always slot paintings upright in two\u2019s of similar sizes where possible\u2014> face to face, and back to back, assuring that none are poking into the others.
